Title: Configurations Speaker: Cyril Garner Abstract: Among the well-known configurations in the Euclidean and projective planes are those of Pappus, Desargues, Pascal and Brianchon. These configurations exist in more general structures, including the Pappian projective planes, one example of which is the extended Euclidean plane. The axioms of Pappian projective planes will be presented with examples. Particular attention will be paid to projectivities and perspectivities as they give rise to a new configuration.
