An intelligent robotics motion control simulation system which can be used to interactively test robot design, simulate an environment for testing robot motion algorithms and for simulating multi-robots task completion. The simulation system enables one to model manipulators, configure the working environment, configure/install robot motion programs, set/install robot sensors, and robot status reporting. In this system, robot motions are displayed on a graphics screen and the activation of the sensors is performed by the simulator. The environment can be re-configured: robots can be added or deleted, robot motions can be change through commands, and obstacles can be inserted or deleted.
